ABOUT US

Based in the stunningly beautiful county of Cornwall, and just a stones throw from the iconic artistic hub of St Ives, I am passionately inspired by my ruggedly wild surroundings hence the name 'WildReef'.

Having previously run a successful cake decorating business and as a qualified teacher specialising in Art, making and creating has long been a big part of my life. I first discovered the joys of 'making' with clay in my teens when I was lucky enough to earn extra pocket money here and there by making personalised name plaques and other quirky pieces for friends and family.  I love the durability of clay which, unlike cake icing, can be treasured for many years to come. Most of the inspiration for the pieces comes from the ocean, but are also often influenced by all things nature too. Occasionally I expand my horizons and come up with new ideas outside of the original vision, as well as a few ideas just for fun.
